The Group Europe in Law Association (ELA) NGO observer Narine Esmayel ,who registered a ballot-stuffing case earlier today at 2:30 p.m., told Media Center that the police have not taken her to the police station, however took Journalists for Human Rights NGO reporter Artak Hambardzumyan to a separate room. “It was me who had called the police, because the election committee members refused to record the ballot-stuffing incident and were putting pressure on me, saying “you are a good girl, you won’t tell anyone”. They were trying to convince me to say I saw nothing, heard nothing. That’s when I got upset and cried,” Esmayel told Media Center. Reporter Artak Hambardzumyan told Media Center that the police had invited him to a separate room to write “an explanation”, which he did and put down his information about the ballot-stuffing incident. The police press center comment will be reported later.
